Here comes Santa

I may not believe in Santa anymore

Or the naughty and nice list

I may not believe in the North Pole’s cheerful elves

Or 9 flying reindeer

But I think I still believe in magic.

While I know Santa isn’t real because my stocking has stayed empty for a decade,

I still believe in the magic of Christmas.

I feel the happiness and joy in my heart that is never felt any other time of the year.

And that warm loving feeling can only be true magic, because it pushes all negative emotions aside

It brings bliss to everyone who allows themselves to feel it, and children most of all.

So while I may not believe in Santa,

I do believe in his magical ability to make Christmas feel like home.
