I am a mother
A mother who never wants or desires a moment away from my children.
I don’t need “me time” or space to myself
My kids are parts of me, without them, I am not whole.
I am a mother
That instinct is strong within me
I will mother anything and everything
From the smallest tadpole
To the biggest tree
I am a mother
A title I knew I always wanted to be
Because who am I if not caring, loving, nurturing
And empathetic
I am a mother.
I have been thinking lately,
Who am I?
What is my purpose in life?
I really didn’t have to think to find my answer
Because I am a mother
I am Me.
And a, very good one this is a wonderful heartfelt poem thank you for sharing this.
